Resumo: Indigenous bodily struggles are a little explored context in the field of Physical Education. In order to affirm this context, we aimed to conduct a survey with Physical Education teachers from the municipal public education network in Fortaleza-CE to analyze whether they worked on indigenous bodily struggles in their classes. Thus, 72 teachers participated in the survey through an online questionnaire. In the research, it was found that 80% of teachers did not work on the topic due to the lack of initial and continuing education, denoting the lack of knowledge of teachers on the topic and the deprivation of students' knowledge about the bodily practices of indigenous peoples. This study is justified as a theoretical basis on the ethnic-racial theme in which it elaborates assumptions that can make the policies of recognition and appreciation of indigenous peoples feasible and promote Law 11.645/08.

Para afirmar este contexto, nos propusimos realizar una encuesta con profesores de Educación Física de la red de educación pública municipal de Fortaleza-CE para analizar si trabajaban en las luchas corporales indígenas en sus clases. Así, 72 profesores participaron en la encuesta a través de un cuestionario online. En la investigación se encontró que el 80% de los docentes no trabajaba el tema debido a la falta de formación inicial y continua, lo que denota el desconocimiento de los docentes sobre el tema y la privación del conocimiento de los estudiantes sobre las prácticas corporales de gente indígena. Este estudio se justifica como una base teórica sobre el tema étnico-racial en el que elabora supuestos que pueden hacer factibles las políticas de reconocimiento y valoración de los pueblos indígenas y promover la Ley 11.645/08.As lutas corporais indígenas são um contexto pouco explorado na área de Educação Física. Para afirmarmos esse contexto objetivamos realizar uma pesquisa com professores de Educação Física da rede municipal de educação pública de Fortaleza, CE para analisarmos se estes trabalhavam as lutas corporais indígenas em suas aulas. Assim, participaram da pesquisa 72 professores através de questionário on-line. Na pesquisa, foi constatado que 80% dos professores não trabalhavam a temática pela falta de formação inicial e continuada, denotando o desconhecimento dos professores sobre a temática e a privação do conhecimento dos alunos sobre as práticas corporais dos povos indígenas.
