Resumo: The present study aimed to compare the level of declarative tactical knowledge in futsal athletes from two teams with different placements in the final ranking of the Brazilian University Games. Participated in this study 33 university athletes from two final ranked teams of University Brazilian Games. It used the declarative tactical knowledge test for futsal-TCTD-FS. The results showed that the higher ranked team in the competition had higher CTD compared to the other team with significant differences in all variables investigated. As the difficult indices scenes, the results show that athletes from both teams had difficults in justify their decision making in most of the scenes. It is concluded that there was a direct relation between competitive performance and better levels of CTD and its variables.

It is concluded that there was a direct relation between competitive performance and better levels of CTD and its variables.El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo comparar el nivel de conocimiento táctico declarativo en atletas de fútbol sala de dos equipos con diferentes posiciones en el ranking final de los Juegos Universitarios Brasileños. Participaron del estudio 33 estudiantes universitarios, de dos equipos con diferentes posiciones en el ranking final de los Juegos Universitarios Brasileños. Para analizar el conocimiento táctico declarativo (CTD) se utilizó el Test de Conocimiento Táctico Declarativo de Futsal - TCTD-FS. Los resultados revelaron que el mejor equipo clasificado en la competición fue el que presentó un mayor nivel de CTD respecto al peor clasificado, siendo esta diferencia estadísticamente significativa para todas las variables investigadas. En cuanto al índice de dificultad de la escena, los resultados mostraron la dificultad de los atletas, de ambos equipos, en justificando su toma de decisiones en la mayoría de las escenas del instrumento. Se concluye que, en este estudio, hubo una relación directa entre el desempeño competitivo y los niveles de CTD y sus variables.O presente estudo teve o objetivo de comparar o nível de conhecimento tático declarativo em atletas de futsal de duas equipes com diferentes colocações no ranking final dos Jogos Universitários Brasileiros. Participaram do estudo 33 universitários, de duas equipes com diferentes colocações no ranking final dos Jogos Universitários Brasileiros. Para análise do conhecimento tático declarativo (CTD) foi utilizado o Teste de Conhecimento Tático Declarativo Futsal- TCTD-FS. Os resultados revelaram que a melhor equipe colocada na competição foi a que apresentou nível de CTD superior em relação à pior colocada, sendo esta diferença estatisticamente significativa para todas as variáveis investigadas. Quanto ao índice de dificuldade cenas, os resultados evidenciaram a dificuldade dos atletas, de ambas as equipes, em justificar sua tomada de decisão na maioria das cenas do instrumento.
