Resumo: This paper discusses aspects of the representation of elderly characters in soap operas and their relationship with retirement, disability and financial dependence. The owner of the piece, a soap opera of 2019 made by TV Globo, is analyzed at a time when a comprehensive reform in the social security system is approved. It is the soap opera with the largest number of elderly actors. When raising characteristic aspects of the booklet narrative, we want to debate how socially familiar identity discourses about the elderly are constructed.

Analizar El propietario de la pieza, una telenovela de 2019 de TV Globo, no hay momento en que se apruebe una reforma integral del sistema de seguridad social. Es una telenovela con el mayor número de actores mayores en el aire. Al plantear aspectos característicos de los folletos narrativos, consulte para discutir cómo se construyen los discursos de identidad socialmente familiares con respecto a los ancianos.Este trabalho discute aspectos da representação de personagens idosos na telenovela e sua relação com a aposentadoria, invalidez e dependência financeira. Analisa-se A dona do pedaço, telenovela de 2019 realizada pela TV Globo, no momento que se aprovava uma ampla reforma no sistema previdenciário. É a telenovela com o maior número de atores idosos no ar.
