Representation of the black people in old age: an exceptional narrative in soap operas

Resumo: This work discusses the construction of the television fiction narrative from the point of view of the invisibility of the representation of elderly black characters. Through pointing out social and contemporary elements, it is analyzed why the theme of blacks' old age is practically non-existent in TV Globo soap operas. When raising characteristic aspects of the booklet narrative, we want to debate how the annulment of identity discourses is constructed about elderly blacks and their relationship with aspects of social life.

Al señalar elementos sociales y contemporáneos, analice si el tema de la vejez de los negros es prácticamente inexistente en las telenovelas de TV Globo. Al plantear aspectos característicos de los folletos narrativos, usted decide qué forma se construye y cancela los discursos de identidad sobre los negros de edad avanzada y su relación con los aspectos de la vida social.Este trabalho discute a construção da narrativa de ficção televisiva sob o ponto de vista da invisibilidade da representação de personagens negros idosos. A partir do apontamento de elementos sociais e contemporâneos, analisa-se por que a temática da velhice dos negros é praticamente inexistente nas telenovelas da TV Globo.
