Resumo: This article explores the intersection between Procedural Law and literature, using Nelson Rodrigues' work "The Kiss on the Asphalt" as a case study. The research aims to analyze how Rodrigues' work addresses legal issues such as the interpretation of the law and the quest for truth, while reflecting on the legal system, morality, and ethics in society. The rationale for this study lies in the richness of literature in providing insights into social and human complexities, enriching the understanding of the law. The method used involves textual and contextual analysis of the work. It is concluded that literature, such as "The Kiss on the Asphalt," provides a valuable perspective on the legal system and contemporary society, while also documenting the history of Brazil.

A pesquisa visa analisar como a obra de Rodrigues aborda questões jurídicas, como a interpretação da lei e a busca pela verdade, enquanto reflete sobre o sistema jurídico, a moralidade e a ética na sociedade. A justificativa para esse estudo reside na riqueza da literatura em oferecer insights sobre complexidades sociais e humanas, enriquecendo a compreensão do Direito. O método utilizado envolve análise textual e contextual da obra.
