Resumo: Leaders are of great importance to an organization and to those they lead. With this in mind, the aim of this study is to identify the role of the leader in organizational motivation as recorded in scientific articles in the area, from January 2013 to April 2023. To this end, a systematic literature review was carried out with a qualitative approach, using the Spell platform as a source of support. After surveying and selecting the articles, five papers were identified to form the corpus of this research. After analyzing the articles, the impact of leadership style on employee motivation was verified. The following leadership styles were identified: democratic, transformational, leadership by example and task-oriented leadership (situational leadership).

Neste sentido, o objetivo deste trabalho é identificar o papel do líder na motivação organizacional registrados nos artigos científicos da área, no período de janeiro de 2013 a abril de 2023. Para tanto, foi realizada uma revisão sistemática da literatura com abordagem qualitativa, utilizando como fonte de auxílio a plataforma Spell. Após o levantamento e a seleção dos artigos, foram identificados cinco trabalhos que formaram o corpus desta pesquisa. Após serem realizadas as análises dos artigos, verificou-se o impacto do estilo de liderança na motivação dos colaboradores.
