Resumo: | ABSTRACT: The present final thesis aims to analyze the proposal of the homeschooling modality in Brazil, which was created with the objective of providing home education, an educational approach, in which parents replace teachers. In this context, the overall goal is to discuss the absence of the teacher in this educational modality, as teaching involves human interactions, it also intends to highlight the professional devaluation of teachers and the implications that the absence of a teacher has on student's learning. Therefore, education is considered a right for all members of society, which promotes student's formation and socialization, however, homeschooling increasingly deviates from this reality. School and family have distinct roles, although they both contribute to an individual's development. Furthermore, some criticisms will be presented, with an emphasis on the absence of the teacher to instruct the student and the student's absence from the school institution, which raises significant concerns about individual development. |

Furthermore, some criticisms will be presented, with an emphasis on the absence of the teacher to instruct the student and the student's absence from the school institution, which raises significant concerns about individual development.RESUMO: O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso tem como pressuposto analisar a modalidade da homeschooling no Brasil, que foi criado com objetivo de oferecer educação domiciliar, uma modalidade de ensino em que os professores são substituídos pelos pais. Neste sentido, o objetivo geral é discutir a ausência do professor nessa modalidade educacional, visto que a docência consiste num trabalho de interações humanas. Pretende-se ainda mostrar por meio dos objetivos específicos a desvalorização profissional dos docentes e as implicações que a ausência do professor acarretam à aprendizagem dos alunos. A escola e a família têm papéis diferentes, isto é, juntas contribuem para a formação do indivíduo. Além disso, serão apresentadas algumas críticas com ênfase à ausência do professor para ensinar o aluno e a ausência do aluno na instituição escolar, o que gera uma grande preocupação na formação do indivíduo. Para tanto, foram realizadas pesquisas biliográficas e documentais acerca da modalidade homeschooling e a categoria docente.
