Resumo: ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze and understand how psychosocial categories, games and games develop in childhood and their relationship with the creative process in early childhood education. To this end, it adopts the historical-cultural approach based theoretically on authors such as Vigotski (2009), Luria (1991), Kohan (2004) and Elkonin (2009). The results reveal that learning through playing is essential both for childhood development and for stimulating the creative process, helping to understand the world and the child's internal conflicts, and that the school and the teacher have a fundamental role in this. process. Construction of the Subject.Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar e compreender como desenvolvem-se as categorias psicossociais, os jogos e as brincadeiras na infância e qual sua relação com o processo criador na educação infantil. Para tanto, adota a abordagem histórico-cultural fundamentando-se teoricamente em autores como Vigotski (2009), Luria (1991), Kohan (2004) e Elkonin (2009). Os resultados revelam que a aprendizagem através das brincadeiras e jogos é essencial tanto para o desenvolvimento na infância, quanto para estimular o processo criador, auxiliando na compreensão do mundo e dos conflitos internos da criança, e que a escola e o professor têm papel fundamental neste processo.
