O olhar no ensino de arte: sei que vi, mas nunca reparei

Resumo: This article presents the process and data of an investigation developed for the teaching of visual arts, contemplating records obtained from a Pedagogical Intervention carried out with 8th grade students from a municipal public school located in Corumbá, Mato Grosso do Sul. Elaborated from the teacher's curiosity about the phenomenon of artistic creation carried by cultural manifestations of Corumbá/MS, the text develops through an approach to popular and regional culture, bringing together the production of artists from MS and reflections of authors from Phenomenology. With the objective of analyzing and understanding cultural relations that may emerge from the reflection of public school students in Corumbá, through pedagogical experiences with local urban art, the investigation of a qualitative nature and phenomenological approach appropriates instruments of the situated phenomenon modality, whose fundamental object of support is found in the sculptural work located in urban space and produced by a regional artist from Mato Grosso do Sul. After the development of the Pedagogical Intervention and the analysis of the collected data, three thematic categories were unveiled: A) A state of tuning is needed, B) The city where we live, and C) Art is a construction, in which reflections are presented contemplating the didactic-pedagogical process in the Intervention developed and the objective that structures the present work. In the considerations, the reached reflections and the possibilities that the approach to the phenomenon of artistic creation carries for the teaching of visual arts in public schools are presented. Elaborado a partir da curiosidade docente sobre o fenômeno da criação artística carregado por manifestações culturais de Corumbá/MS, o texto se desenvolve por uma aproximação com a cultura popular e regional, reunindo a produção de artistas de MS e reflexões de autoras e autores da Fenomenologia. Com o objetivo de analisar e compreender relações culturais que possam emergir da reflexão de estudantes de uma escola pública de Corumbá, por experiências pedagógicas com a arte urbana local, a investigação de cunho qualitativo e abordagem fenomenológica, apropria-se de instrumentos da modalidade do fenômeno situado, cujo objeto fundamental de sustentação se encontra na obra escultórica localizada em espaço urbano e produzida por um artista regional do Mato Grosso do Sul. Após o desenvolvimento da Intervenção Pedagógica e da análise dos dados coletados, desvelaram-se três categorias temáticas: A) Necessita-se de um estado de sintonia, B) A cidade onde moramos e C) Arte é uma construção, nas quais são apresentadas reflexões contemplando o processo didático pedagógico na Intervenção desenvolvida e o objetivo que estrutura o presente trabalho.
