Resumo: This paper addresses the perception of the adherents of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDA) about its inclusion in companies in Naviraí-MS. The objective was to study, in the perception of the members of the SDA, whether they suffer or have already suffered any difficulty in the labor market in the city of Naviraí-MS. To achieve the objective, a qualitative/descriptive field research was conducted through semi-structured interviews with eight members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. As a result, it was observed that all of them faced some kind of difficulty in the labor market, more precisely in the work environment, however all managed to somehow adapt and conquer space. In some positions there is greater difficulty to work, as they require more time of present dedication, being necessary to go on Saturdays, but companies have shown willingness to make alternative agreements for the provision of services. Proactivity is also necessary in some of the cases so that the adherents of the SDA church can keep their jobs and keep them. It is also noteworthy that moments of interaction at work, such as get-togethers, often occur on Saturday, with Adventists not attending, making them feel excluded from the whole. On the whole, Adventists have been able to reconcile their jobs with the day guard, but they would not hesitate to resign if they felt that their rights had been infringed. In conclusion, there is a greater need for companies to be attentive and sensitive to the work environment, so that they can ensure that there is no discrimination not only against Adventists, but against all faiths, thus promoting a more harmonious and productive environment.
