Monitoramento de ovos de aedes aegypti em bairros do município de Barra do Garças com casos de dengue

Resumo: Aedes (Stegomyia) aegypti (Linnaeus, 1762) is the main transmitter of diseases such as dengue, zika virus, chikungunya fever, and urban yellow fever, however, another species named Aedes (Stegomyia) albopictus (Skuse, 1894) is an important chikungunya virus vector in Brazil and also considered a secondary vector for dengue in Asia. The abundance of mosquitoes Ae. aegypti and Ae. albopictus are performed in various locations around the world. The objective of this work is to monitor Aedes aegypti eggs in Barra do Garças-MT neighborhoods with reported dengue cases and to correlate with abiotic factors: temperature, relative humidity and rainfall. Eleven ovitraps were installed in the neighborhoods with the highest number of dengue cases recorded in 2016 and 2017 in the municipality of Barra do Garças-MT, for a period of 11 months, from June 2018 to April 2019. Eggs in the straws with the aid of a stereoscopic microscope in the UFMT parasitology laboratory. In cases of positive reeds, the Ae cycle was developed. aegypti in the laboratory, so that eggs would hatch and morphological identification of adult mosquitoes by species and separating them by sex. In this study, it was observed that in each month there were eggs in both the dry and rainy periods, totaling 1,720 eggs, the ovitram positivity index (IPO) and the egg density index (IDO) were calculated. was 36.53% and the IDO was 39.08. Temperature, relative humidity and rainfall seem to have influenced the development and reproduction of Ae. aegypti. When we compare the amount of eggs obtained with the reported cases of dengue, zika and chikungunya, it seems that only dengue had a relationship. Of the 43 positive straws from only 4 straws we obtained adults, with a total of 55 mosquitoes, 26 females and 29 males, in which all mosquitoes were identified as Ae. aegypti. Ovitraps besides being a simple method proved to be effective in monitoring the vector. Therefore, year-round monitoring and prevention actions are necessary to combat the mosquito that transmits various diseases.

A abundância dos mosquitos Ae. aegypti e Ae. albopictus são realizados em diversos locais do mundo. O trabalho tem como objetivo monitorar ovos de Aedes aegypti em bairros do município de Barra do Garças-MT com casos notificados de dengue e correlacionar com os fatores abióticos: temperatura, umidade relativa do ar e precipitação pluviométrica. Foram instaladas 11 ovitrampas nos bairros com maior número de casos de dengue registrados no ano de 2016 e 2017 no município de Barra do Garças- MT, por um período de 11 meses, de junho de 2018 a abril de 2019. Foi realizada a contagem dos ovos nas palhetas com o auxílio de um microscópio estereoscópio no laboratório de parasitologia da UFMT. Em casos de palhetas positivas, foi desenvolvido o ciclo do Ae. aegypti no laboratório, para que houvesse a eclosão dos ovos e a identificação morfológica dos mosquitos adultos quanto à espécie e separando-os quanto ao sexo. Neste estudo observou que em todos os meses houve a presença de ovos tanto no período de seca quanto no período chuvoso totalizando 1.720 ovos, foram calculados o índice de positividade da ovitrampa (IPO) e o índice de densidade de ovos (IDO), o IPO foi de 36,53% e o IDO foi de 39,08. A temperatura, a umidade relativa e a pluviosidade parecem ter influenciado no desenvolvimento e na reprodução do Ae. aegypti. Quando comparamos a quantidade de ovos obtidos com os casos notificados de dengue, zika e chikungunya parece que só a dengue apresentou uma relação. Das 43 palhetas positivas apenas de 4 palhetas obtivemos adultos, tendo um total de 55 mosquitos, 26 fêmeas e 29 machos, em que todos os mosquitos foram identificados como Ae. aegypti. As ovitrampas além de ser um método simples se mostraram eficazes no monitoramento do vetor.
