The politics and the results in the elections have undergone changes with the technological evolution, bringing, thus, the social networks and dissemination in the great press as decisive mechanisms for electoral disputes. For this reason, in this work we carried out a study about the electoral scenario of Lucas do Rio Verde, the mutation in the media and how they are currently available The press office plays a fundamental role in the construction of the political figure, in the maintenance of the discourse coherent with the electorate and in the relationship with the vehicles of communication that becomes indispensable for those who are involved in this universe. From this perspective, the objective of this work is the elaboration of a communication and press plan for the elected mayor Luiz Binotti, from Lucas do Rio Verde, Mato Grosso, Brazil.
