The Civil construction has always been one of the main gears to drive the world economy. A work is much more than the product of the use of specific materials and of collective efforts employed that aim at the well-being of a certain group; it is also a source of income, inspiration and technological advances for millions of people, but above all, it is an enterprise. This commercial aspect requires that those involved in the construction of a work have the maximum possible control over its costs. The budget is an essential device for this management and the more in-depth the sources of information are, the more precise and understandable the control of the work will be. There are some reference tables for budgeting in the literature, among which the SINAPI Table is the most widely used by budget engineers across the country. This study verified, analyzed and compared data from works in the city of Iporá - Goiás, with those provided by CAIXA/IBGE for the construction stages of baldrame beam, sealing masonry, wall covering and plaster lining. Checking the Basic Unit Cost (CUB), productivity indexes, the list of inputs and the mode of execution of each composition. Thus showing that despite the differences found between the foreshadowed by the System and the one developed in the region, budgeting by SINAPI it is applicable for works in the city of Iporá-GO.
