Resumo: | Introduction: Until recently, people with a mental disorder were segregated in psychiatric hospitals. The change of this model came occur in Brazil in the early twenty-first century with the Psychiatric Reform, focusing on assistance to people in psychological distress, with more humane mental health services, community-based, through the Centers for Psychosocial Care - CAPS. Objective: To analyze the epidemiological profile and associated factors among users of the Psychosocial Care Center, CAPS Dr. Julio Strubing Muller Neto, who had opened records from January 2014 to January 2015. Methods: An exploratory study, with data collected at 115 records. We conducted univariate, bivariate with chi-square test and prevalence ratio (PR) as a measure of association with 95% confidence intervals. Result: found higher prevalence of female users (61.7%), age 41-60 (47.0%), complete and incomplete secondary education (40.9%), has no income (40.0%), single (41.8%), evangelical religion (30.4%) live in their own home (87.0%) are cuiabanos (40.8%). Regarding Mental Disorder, found higher proportions to the user with a diagnosis of schizophrenia (40.9%), adherent to the treatment group psychotherapy (49.6%). Observed increased exposure of care CAPS, Married user (RP-2.76, 95% CI 1.45 to 5.24) compared to singles with higher proportion females, followed without the income (PR = 1.79, 95% CI 1.03 to 3.09). As for TMC observed increased exposure diagnoses for schizophrenia, Neurotic, stress and Humor regarding the use of psychoactive substances with the highest proportion among women (80.0%, OR = 1.90, 95% CI 1.01 to 3.56 ; 70.88%, OR = 1.61, 95% CI 0.99-2,64, 61.7%, OR = 1.23, 95% CI 0.98 to 1.54), respectively. Final considerations: The features highlighted point out that women in productive age, with education above eight or more years, are more affected by mental disorder and users of CAPS. Necessary to make the planning of intersectoral actions with interdisciplinary assistance to the mental health of users of the public health service. |

Necessary to make the planning of intersectoral actions with interdisciplinary assistance to the mental health of users of the public health service.
