Pesticides have been widely used as a tool in the phytosanitary treatment of crops, in several sectors of agricultural production, but bringing concerns about the environment and human health, this way it was listed indicative of the potential risks to the environment and for the human health of the use of pesticides, research on the Use of Pesticides and Risks to Human Health is carried out, in order to carry out a survey of the pesticides used in agriculture in the state of MT, in order to show the intensification of the use of these products, as well as the importance of the correct use of application technology, to contribute to studies to minimize environmental contamination. Therefore, it is necessary to quantify the volume of pesticides used in the state of MT, in the years 2017 and 2018 and create a computerized database to provide a visualization of the products used. A bibliographic search is then carried out, followed by the application of statistical modeling techniques. Therefore, it appears that the three pesticides most used in Brazil in the period of 2018 are: Glyphosate and its salts (195,056.02 / ton), 2,4-D (48,921.25 / ton) and Mancozebe (40,549.92 / ton), although there are cases of intoxication in the field (28.8%), whether chronic or acute, however the main cause of intoxication that affects health is the suicide attempt (53.73%), which imposes the observation that in order to reduce these rates, an effective training program for the correct use of pesticides is necessary, in addition to an adequacy in the assessment of occupational toxicological risk, and the exposure resulting from their handling and consequent risk characterization is also addressed.
