This work is dedicated to analyzing sports narration as a crucial element in the transmission of sporting events, both considered professional and amateur, exploring its ability to create an engaging and emotional experience for the viewer. The study begins with a historical and evolutionary contextualization of the practice of sports narration, highlighting its central role in contemporary sports culture. The narrator Anjinho Moreno's day-to-day experiences in his profession are covered, including the difficulties he faced. Furthermore, specific emotions are proven to broadcast a match and engage the audience more deeply during the broadcast of sporting events. The narrator's role as mediator between the game and the spectator is examined in detail, with emphasis on ethical responsibility and the narrator's influence on the public's perception. The nuances of the narrative in different environments and how each of them affects the viewer's experience are also considered. The work presents a mini-documentary by Anjinho Moreno, one of the great names in narration in Baixada Cuiabana, illustrating his stories, experiences and perspectives for the future of amateur football narrators. Emblematic examples of historical moments in Anjinho's career are detailed to demonstrate how a narrator can leave a firm mark on people's memories. The study concludes with an understanding of how narration plays a fundamental role within the context of a football match and the impact it has on spectators. In addition, future trends in sports storytelling, taking into account technological innovations and changes in the consumption of sports content from both professional and amateur football.
