Sequência Didática : uma abordagem sobre perigos no uso e armazenagem de saneantes domissanitários

Domestic sanitizers are chemical products, such as: detergents, disinfectants, insecticides, deodorants, among others, used to cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing environments, surfaces and objects. Accidents involving domestic sanitizers products are recurrent in both, legal and clandestine products, due to the lack of guidance regarding use and storage as well as its intrinsic risks to human health and the environment. It is known that the ingestion of these products had been caused unintentional intoxication in children up to 5 years of age, mainly due to bad storage of the product. The objective of this work is to establish an understanding of the risks and care that should be taken when handling these kinds of products, through the elaboration of a didactic sequence, delimiting 1st year high school students as the target public, in addition to promoting consciousness about the safe use of sanitizing agents, presenting the legal means of storage and handling. For this research, a bibliographical search was carried out in order to obtain information to compose the theoretical framework of this work, which also has the action-research method, which combines investigation and practical action. It is expected that this work, by a didactic sequence, to promotes a learning in the study of labels, safety measures, awareness of the dangers in the use and storage of the products mentioned and, mainly to mitigates the causes of accidents by domestic sanitizers. Therefore, it is necessary to emphasize the importance of maintaining due care both in the use and storage of household cleaners, in view of the number of poisonings that have occurred in recent years.
