The present paper discusses the potential of Environmental Justice in the face of the impacts caused by globalization, especially in relation to existing legal instruments on solid waste management. Due to the irrational consumption of electronic devices, whose acquisition became more accessible, faced with the phenomenon of globalization, it was noticed that there was a significant increase in the irregular disposal of electronic waste in the environment, producing the e- garbage ", as well as in the exploitation of raw material for its production. With the technological advance driven by unbridled capitalism, there has been a significant increase in the consumption of electronic components, which endangers both the environment and humanity, since both are affected, leading to a type of society "at risk. Just as technology / society has been making remarkable progress in a wide range of areas, there is also a real need for legislative progress on the subject, in response to these global phenomena.
