Resumo: This article aims to show the evolution of the education wage, one of the types of funding for education in Brazil and in the 141 municipalities in the state of Mato Grosso and its impact on state basic education between 2010 and 2020. The methodology consists of collecting and verifying data, which consists of quotas transferred to states and municipalities by the National Education Development Fund (FNDE), in the last decade, and the analytical comparison with the level of enrollment in a registry officiated by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira ( INEP ) in the meantime. The data found indicate that at the national level there was a real loss in the value of the education salary, with a significant increase in the last 3 years of the period analyzed, which was reflected in the values passed on to the state of Mato Grosso and its respective municipalities.

A metodologia consiste na coleta e verificação dos dados, que consiste nas quotas transferidas aos estados e municípios pelo Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educação (FNDE), do último decênio, e a comparação analítica com o nível de vínculos matriculares em registro oficiado pelo Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (INEP) no mesmo ínterim.
