Satisfação de acadêmicos de enfermagem sobre o uso da simulação clínica

Introduction: Clinical simulation is an active method that incorporates reality, facilitating the active participation of the student, being the protagonist of their knowledge. Regarding the scope of clinical simulation, especially in the Nursing course, it is extremely important to analyze the relationship of student satisfaction with the use of clinical simulation as a form of learning in nursing education. Thus, it is necessary to look for the level of satisfaction and perception of the academic when using the simulation in the academy. Objective: This study aimed to assess the degree of satisfaction with the use of clinical simulation as a learning tool among nursing students at UFMT/Sinop, in addition to researching the socio-academic profile. Method: This is descriptive research, with a quantitative and cross-sectional approach, carried out with 13 students from the Nursing course at UFMT – Sinop campus. The Simulation Design Scale questionnaires and the Socio-Academic questionnaire were used as data collection instruments, as they are valid and reliable instruments for evaluating the degree of satisfaction of students regarding the use of clinical simulation. For the analysis of quantitative data, processing on the Google Forms platform and qualitative data were categorized into two divisions. All the precepts of Resolution 466/12 were respected and the project was approved by the Ethics Committee under opinion nº 4.216.249. Results and Discussion: The results obtained showed that, in general, the respondents liked to participate in the simulations and felt satisfied with the use of clinical simulation, to the point of suggesting that the simulations could start in previous semesters, in the specific subjects of the course and that it was before the internship practices. Conclusion: Although with a small number of participants, the study made it possible to measure the degree of satisfaction with the use of clinical simulation among nursing students and it was possible to infer that simulation is a very relevant teaching strategy in academic training.
