This study aimed to survey and analyzes the crimes related with drugs and alcohol consumption, whether by drug dealing or drunkenness on the roads and associated factors, registered at the police station of camp Verde, Mato Grosso state in the period of January to December, year 2013. This is an exploratory study. A form was used for collecting data and employed simple frequency analysis and association with the Chi-square test. Notes a frequency of offences involving trafficking and use of drugs (16.7 %), robbery and thievery (31.3%) and domestic violence (27.5%), other offences (24.5%). The largest proportion of cases was about men (83.0%), aged 19-40 years of age (62.9%), with the average age of 39.82 with standard deviance of ± 24.99, singles (41.4%) have children (50.2%), race/color white (56.0%), not have religion (56.5%), incomplete elementary school (36.6%), are employees (68.9 %), income of 1 to 2 minimum wages (48.2%) affirm use of alcohol and other drugs (66.1 %). In the Association of crimes involving drug dealing or drug use, was found significant association to be single or convivial in relation of the married, didn't have a profession and possess low income (p < 0.05). Inference the need of municipal develop crime prevention policies, through public institutions for social assistance and social reintegration and the Public Security Bureau, to improve the records of offences with the aim to avoid the existence of not informed data to effectively monitor and intervene within the framework of criminality in the city of camp Verde.
