The transport company that has an efficient management, has well defined four spheres being the organizational, physical, information technology and methodology. In this sense, TMS is a computer program that can assist in the activities of the logistics operator. Thus, the general objective of this work is to identify the impacts of inserting TMS in the daily activities of a logistics operator. The reference company for this research, here called Y Log, has units in the South, Southeast and Northeast regions of Brazil and its activities are consolidator operations, last mile, it does not have its own fleet, and its customers are suppliers in the electronic market. An interview with the TMS implementation team at Y Log is presented to understand the difficulties of the project. Finally, it is possible to identify that the project of implantation of a TMS is time consuming and of expressive monetary value, however, even so, the system presents itself as a good logistic solution in the studied company, it remains as a suggestion for continuation of the study with a quantitative analysis., of the processes before and after the TMS as well as a satisfaction survey with the users of the system.
