This work deals with urban mobility within the Campus Cuiabá and reflections caused by high traffic rate of motorization and congestion in sentry boxes checked daily, especially during peak hours. To understand the views of users of the campus, social strata and desire lines, summed it up this Labor mobility Undergraduate research done in the classroom with students of the University. The objectives are to determine the type and number of vehicles crossing the University, along with your length of stay and check that the parking spaces meet the demand of Campus Cuiabá. The method relied on surveys, counts vacancies, dwell time of vehicles and traffic counts taken in the gatehouse that leads to the neighborhood of Good Hope University. We identified the times of highest concentration of vehicles in the guardhouse, occurring from 7:00 to 09:00, 13:00 to 14:00, 11:00 to 12:00 and 17:00 to 18:00, the rate occupancy of recreational vehicles and public transportation vehicles that are 1.02 and 24.8 passengers per vehicle respectively, and the average remained the ride vehicle that is 1 hour and 32 minutes. Did an analysis to see if the number of parking spaces is sufficient for the number of cars using the patio UFMT, and it was found that it meets demand. The paper concludes with observations regarding the data obtained in the research field, and also presents suggestions that may help to reduce congestion and increased use of public transportation.
