Da ausência na TV à presença nos videoclipes : reflexões sobre o negro LGBT+ no audiovisual brasileiro

This academic work has the black LGBT+ person as its general theme. It aims to debate the abscence of the black LGBT+ in the television media, specifically on the Rede Globo’s soap operas in the period between the years 1970 and 2007. We also seek to demonstrate that, in opposition to the invisibility on this genre of television program, the black LGBT+ has acquired space, in the recent years, through other media. For example, the growing numbers of musical video clips which are being aired in digital platforms. Pointing this distinction, abscence on the television and presence on the virtual space is the main object in our Course Conclusion Work of the History Degree. For that, we executed a bibliographical research and acquired some audiovisual documents. With this study, we expect to contribute to other researchers interested in debating media and history.
