Resumo: Like most fruits, melon (Cucumis melo L.) faces several post-harvest conservation problems, because it is a perishable food and has a high water content, in addition to losses in the stages of transport, distribution, storage and commercialization. The objective of the study was to evaluate the interference of resistance inducers on the conservation and postharvest quality of Cucumis melo var. Cantalupensis. Cantalupensis. The fruits were submitted to treatments with Bion®, Ecolife®, AgroSilício® and as a control only distilled water. Analyzes were performed at 0, 3, 6, 9 and 12 days of storage, at a temperature of 25 ºC. At the end of each storage period, the following analyzes were performed: loss of fresh mass, skin and pulp firmness and color, pH, soluble solids (SS), titratable acidity (AT), SS/AT ratio and ascorbic acid. The treatments did not significantly affect the variables of pH, parameters (a* and b*) of the skin, luminosity (L*) of the pulp and total soluble solids in the fruits of melon (Cucumis melo var. Cantaloupensis), in the period from 0 to 12 storage days. AgroSilicon provided a lower loss of fresh mass, acidity and the ratio between soluble solids and titratable acidity (SS/AT). The highest levels of vitamin C were obtained from melon fruits treated with Ecolife, at the end of the storage period.
