Resumo: This paper has the aims to trace the profile of the graduates of the second class of the Postgraduate Programme in Mathematics and Science Education (PPGECEM) of the Amazon Network of Mathematics and Science Education (REAMEC), seeking to understand the impact of this training on the lives of graduates and in the Amazon region. The research has a the case study type, in which were used document analysis and an online questionnaire for data production, analyzed statistically (closed questions) and by Discursive Textual Analysis (DTA) (open questions). The analysis made it possible to outline the profile of graduates, this distribution by gender and institution, and the impact of doctoral training. As results, it was found a significant number of women in this class (26 women and 16 men), representing a percentage of 59%. Regarding the initial training of graduates, it was noted the predominance of degree courses in Pedagogy and Mathematics. Regarding the time interval between graduation and doctorate, twenty (20) of the PhD graduates waited between 11 and 20 years to enter a doctorate program, evidencing to the scarcity of courses of this nature offered in the Legal Amazon. The main impact of the doctoral training of this class can be noted in the scientific production and the graduates have contributed to the creation and maintenance of research groups and graduate programs in the area, in addition to its important role in teacher training in the Amazon region.
