WOMAN AND TEACHING: NARRATIVES, REFLECTIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A CRITICAL AWARENESS ABOUT SEXISM, CULTURE AND SOCIETY

Resumo: This article is based on the results of a master's research that aimed to investigate the movement of continuing education of teachers who teach mathematics, through narratives elaborated according to the parameters of Oral History. In this text, we present a discussion on how cultural aspects linked to the female figure influence the training processes and, for that, we highlight some excerpts from narratives in which the teachers shared their experiences about participating in the Pedagogical Mathematics Workshop (OPM), a university extension project, whose main objective is the elaboration and execution of pedagogical workshops in mathematics, theoretically and methodologically based on Historical-Cultural Theory and Activity Theory. The objective of this text is to provide reflections that lead to a critical thinking about gender, equality and inequality in the professionalization of women who work in teaching, discussing historical, cultural and social aspects that cross them in this formative path and that are still latent in the narratives of these women teachers. In this perspective, we propose the discussion as a way of deconstructing barriers that still hamper the access of teachers to scientific and technological training spaces, as well as limiting access to research and the quality of training processes.

En este texto, presentamos una discusión sobre cómo los aspectos culturales vinculados a la figura femenina influyen en los procesos formativos y, para ello, destacamos algunos fragmentos de narrativas en las que las docentes compartieron sus experiencias a partir de la participación en el Taller de Matemática Pedagógica (OPM ), un proyecto de extensión universitaria, cuyo objetivo principal es la elaboración y ejecución de talleres pedagógicos en matemáticas, fundamentados teórica y metodológicamente en la Teoría Histórico-Cultural y la Teoría de la Actividad. El objetivo de este texto es brindar reflexiones que conduzcan a un pensamiento crítico sobre el género, la igualdad y la desigualdad en la profesionalización de las mujeres que se desempeñan en la docencia, discutiendo aspectos históricos, culturales y sociales que las atraviesan en ese camino formativo y que aún permanecen latentes. en las narrativas de estas mujeres docentes. En esta perspectiva, proponemos la discusión como una forma de deconstruir las barreras que aún dificultan el acceso de los docentes a los espacios de formación científica y tecnológica, así como limitan el acceso a la investigación y la calidad de los procesos de formación.Este artigo parte dos resultados de uma pesquisa de mestrado que teve como objetivo investigar o movimento de formação continuada de professores que ensinam matemática, por meio de narrativas elaboradas segundo os parâmetros da História Oral. Nesse texto, apresentamos uma discussão sobre como os aspectos culturais atrelados à figura feminina influenciam nos processos formativos e, para isso, destacamos alguns trechos de narrativas em que as professoras compartilharam suas experiências a partir da participação na Oficina Pedagógica de Matemática (OPM), um projeto de extensão universitária, que tem como objetivo principal a elaboração e execução de oficinas pedagógicas de matemática, fundamentadas teórica e metodologicamente na teoria Histórico-Cultural e Teoria da Atividade. O objetivo desse texto é proporcionar reflexões que conduzam a um pensamento crítico sobre gênero, igualdade e desigualdade na profissionalização das mulheres que exercem a docência, discorrendo sobre aspectos históricos, culturais e sociais que as atravessam nesse percurso formativo e que ainda são latentes nas narrativas dessas professoras.
