Resumo: The objective of this paper was to analyze the representation of the Lavrado Ecosystem in Science textbooks and to observe the contextualization of this content with the local reality of the students of Elementary School I of the municipal public school of Boa Vista, Roraima. The data were obtained through bibliographical survey, where the science books used in municipal schools were analyzed. After the analysis, it was observed that no reference was found to the Lavrado Ecosystem. In addition, it was noted that the contents present in these works do not contextualize the local reality of the students, which may make it difficult to understand the content, since for meaningful learning it is important that the student can identify the relationship between what he studies and his daily life.

Os dados foram obtidos por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, onde foram analisados os livros de Ciências utilizados nas escolas municipais.  Após a análise, observou-se que não foi encontrado nenhuma referência ao Ecossistema Lavrado.
