Resumo: This article describes the product of a doctoral study that sought to identify how digital technologies can provide the development of skills and competencies for the construction of scientific knowledge in initial teacher education courses. It presents a didactic proposal entitled "SK Model" that aims to guide educators of higher education, particularly in the area of Science and Mathematics, to reflect on the digital competencies needed to plan, execute and evaluate pedagogical strategies with the use of digital technologies. To this end, it was verified with students and professors of Science and Mathematics courses, in a face-to-face degree of a public higher education institution of the state of Roraima, which their digital competencies would be and how these competencies could be used in the educational process. In data collection, Likert questionnaires were applied to a sample of 173 students and interviews were conducted with 14 Science and Mathematics professors. The research is of mixed approach, with statistical treatment of the questionnaires, analysis of the Brazilian national curriculum guidelines and of the pedagogical projects of the Science and Mathematics courses (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Natural Sciences), as well as the transcription and content analysis of the interviews.  With the help of the categorization technique, a set of educational strategies was elaborated that present a proposal for the development of the digital competencies necessary for the planning, execution and evaluation of teaching methodologies.
