EDUCATION & TECNOLOGY: REFLECTIONS ABOUT THE INCORPORATION OF MOBILE TECNOLOGIES IN THE EDUCATION

Resumo: In current times, there is a growing call for the inclusion of mobile devices in the classroom, such as tablets, mobile phones, smartphones in order to improve the learning teaching practices. However, the presence of these technologies provokes questions, challenges, reflections on the need to rethink the pedagogical practice. For this, the aim of this article is to present a the partial results of an exploratory research to discuss the process of incorporating  of this technology in education. Firstly, are presented some thoughts on technological expansion and its applications. And then approached the process of incorporation of ICTs in education: what are the steps required, and the challenges and tensions to overcome, especially according to the training of teachers. The professor continues to be crucial to guide the teaching learning process, but its role of teacher change. It also presents an account of a pedagogical activity carried out with the participation of students from the undergraduate Chemistry, Federal University of Rondônia (UNIR) under the guidance of two teachers (one teacher trainer of Chemistry and a professor of computer science).

No entanto, a presença dessas tecnologias provoca questionamentos, desafios, reflexões sobre a necessidade de repensar a prática pedagógica. Para isto, o objetivo deste artigo é apresentar os resultados parciais de uma pesquisa exploratória para discutir o processo de incorporação de tecnologias na educação. Primeiramente, são apresentadas algumas reflexões sobre a expansão tecnológica e suas aplicações. Em seguida, é abordado o processo de incorporação das TIC na educação: quais as etapas necessárias e os desafios e tensões a serem superados, principalmente com relação à formação de professores. O professor continua a ser crucial para orientar o processo de ensino aprendizagem, mas o seu papel de professor muda.
