MAPPING OF STATISTICAL QUESTIONS FOUND IN THE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL EXAMINATION

Resumo: | The present study presents a mapping of all the questions-problems of the National Secondary Education Examination (ENEM), from the period 2009 to 2021, which involve statistics, seeking to highlight the frequency with which statistical knowledge appears in the areas of knowledge that make up the exam, namely: the Human Sciences and their Technologies; the Natural Sciences and their Technologies and Mathematics and their Technologies. The methodology adopted in this research has a documentary approach and the data collected were treated quantitatively, using statistical techniques to analyze the results obtained. In this study, emphasis was given to questions with graphs and tables that, directly or indirectly, require statistical knowledge for their resolution, as well as to texts that motivate written production (writing). Based on the observed results, it is concluded that statistics permeates the entire ENEM, being present mainly in the writing task and in the areas of Natural Sciences, Human Sciences and Mathematics. It is believed that this research reveals the importance of statistical education in Basic Education, since its knowledge permeates all areas of knowledge and provides important information about various phenomena in society. |

It is believed that this research reveals the importance of statistical education in Basic Education, since its knowledge permeates all areas of knowledge and provides important information about various phenomena in society.El presente estudio nos presenta un mapeo de todas las preguntas de investigación del Examen Nacional de Educación Secundaria (ENEM), del período 2009 a 2021, que involucran estadística, buscando resaltar la frecuencia con la que aparece el conocimiento estadístico en las áreas de conocimiento que conforman hasta el examen, a saber: las Ciencias Humanas y sus Tecnologías; las Ciencias Naturales y su Tecnología y las Matemáticas y sus Tecnologías. La metodología adoptada en esta investigación tiene carácter documental y los datos recogidos han sido tratados cuantitativamente, utilizando técnicas estadísticas para que analicemos los resultados obtenidos. En este estudio se ha dado énfasis a preguntas con gráficos y tablas que, directa o indirectamente, nos requieren conocimientos estadísticos para su resolución, así como a textos que nos motiven la producción escrita (redacción). Con base en los resultados observados, se concluye que la estadística permea todo el ENEM, estando presente sobre todo en la redacción y en las áreas de Ciencias Naturales, Ciencias Humanas y Matemáticas. Se cree que esta investigación revela la importancia de la educación estadística en la Educación Básica, ya que su contenido permea todas las áreas del conocimiento y nos regala informaciones importantes sobre diversos fenómenos de la sociedad.O presente estudo apresenta um mapeamento de todas as questões-problemas do Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (ENEM), do período de 2009 a 2021, que envolvem estatística, buscando evidenciar a frequência com que o conhecimento estatístico aparece nas áreas de conhecimento que compõem o exame, quais sejam: as Ciências Humanas e suas Tecnologias, as Ciências da Natureza e suas Tecnologias e Matemática e suas Tecnologias. A metodologia adotada nesta pesquisa tem caráter documental, e os dados coletados foram tratados quantitativamente, utilizando-se de técnicas estatísticas para analisar os resultados obtidos. Neste estudo, foi dado ênfase às questões com gráficos e tabelas que, direta ou indiretamente, necessitam de conhecimentos estatísticos para a sua resolução, bem como aos textos motivadores da produção escrita (redação). Com base nos resultados observados, conclui-se que a estatística perpassa todo o ENEM, estando presente, principalmente, na redação e nas áreas de Ciências da Natureza, Ciências Humanas e Matemática.
