Resumo: | This article presents the results of a preliminary analysis that seeks to reflect the epistemology of Bachelard (1996), with the objective of investigating the notion of epistemological obstacle, considering the conceptions of the apprentices on the teaching of sciences, pointing out the obstacles created in the formation of a scientific spirit. It presents explanatory models that are broken, through the problematization of the studied object, pointing out possibilities of approach between scientific themes and non formal spaces. Phenomenological research, with a qualitative approach, is complemented with in situ field observations made during the year 2016 in two schools; one state, located in the north zone and another municipal one, located in the east zone of the city of Manaus – AM. As a strategy for the research, we conducted dialogue classes, textual productions, drawings and visits to the Seringal Vila Paraiso Museum (MSVP) and the Zoo of the Forest Warfare Training Center (CIGS), as part of the activities carried out with the Post- Graduation in Education and Teaching of Sciences in the Amazon, of the State University of Amazonas (UEA). The results show that students' initial conceptions about the relation between the history of the advance of science and its technologies, as well as the relation between man, environment and society, are dichotomized and distant from current reality. It is concluded that the visit to non-formal spaces expands the possibilities of overcoming epistemological obstacles, contributing in the process of knowledge construction, connecting science and technology and providing the appropriation of scientific knowledge |
