THE STATE OF ART IN THE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH METHODOLOGY IN TRAINING BIOLOGY TEACHERS IN BRAZIL: A VIEW BASED ON THESIS ANALYSIS

Resumo: The article aimed to investigate the paradigms used in academic production expressed in theses on the Formation of Biology Teachers, defended in graduate programs of Education and / or Science Teaching existing in Brazil in the period 2007-2016. 19 documents were examined. It is believed that this article may motivate reflections on the training of Biology teachers, within the scope of the national scenario, in addition to allowing the analysis and understanding of how the methodologies are being applied for the collection and study of data of the developed research. The work was guided by the identification of the methodological approaches that were applied in the works. The results presented some terms used in scientific research to designate a paradigm, in addition to identifying the paradigms most used by researchers.

Foram examinados 19 documentos. Acredita-se que este artigo poderá motivar reflexões sobre a formação de professores de Biologia, no âmbito do cenário nacional, além de permitir a análise e compreensão de como estão sendo aplicadas as metodologias para a coleta e estudo de dados das pesquisas desenvolvidas. O trabalho foi norteado pela identificação das abordagens metodológicas que foram aplicadas nos trabalhos.
