Resumo: The text consists of an excerpt from the authors' postdoctoral research, carried out at UFBA/FACED from March 2018 to March 2019, entitled: Playful pedagogical practices of teachers who teach mathematics in the early years of elementary school. It had as general objective: to analyze the comprehension, organization and development of the Pedagogical Playful Practice of teachers who teach mathematics in the initial years of Elementary School. He posed the following question: how do elementary school math teachers understand, interpret and organize their playful pedagogical practices? The qualitative research, case study and interpretative method approaches were used to analyze the information produced by four teachers from a public school in the 1st and 2nd cycles. The instruments used for the production and collection of data were observation, interview and analysis of documents. It is concluded that teachers understand the concept investigated and strive to develop it in mathematics classes.

O estudo teve como objetivo geral analisar a compreensão, organização e desenvolvimento da Prática Pedagógica Lúdica de professores que ensinam matemática aos alunos dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. Apresentou a seguinte questão: como as professoras de matemática do Ensino Fundamental compreendem, interpretam e organizam suas práticas pedagógicas lúdicas? Foram utilizadas as abordagens da pesquisa qualitativa, do estudo de caso e do método interpretativo para analisar as informações produzidas por quatro professoras de uma escola pública de 1º e 2º ciclos. Os instrumentos utilizados para a produção e coleta de dados foram a observação, a entrevista e a análise de documentos.
