Qualidade do ambiente construído em reparadoras de veículos leves : diagnóstico e proposições para Cuiabá e Várzea Grande

Focusing on the light vehicle repair sector, the research aims to contribute with the architecture dedicated to this sector, identifying and suggesting architectural solutions for a place with better quality (health, comfort and energy efficiency). For this purpose, it offers a diagnosis regarding the companies linked to the automobile manufactures that have a greater complexity workplace, with more activities and more constructive solutions than the other companies of the same sector in general. The object of study was determined from the previous knowledge of sector expansion (according to the union there are more than three thousand ventures only in Mato Grosso), still under the premise of potential polluter from the automobile repair shops and the low environmental quality of the sector. Nonetheless, whereas the quality of the built workplace is closely related to the region ́s climate conditions, this study concentrates on analyzing workplaces situated in the cities of Cuiabá and Várzea Grande, both in Mato Grosso. The diagnosis analyzes intrinsic factors to the local held activity, management and waste storage, building materials and architectonic solutions, thus basing strategy propositions that are suited for the Grande Cuiabá area and for the needs of the repair shops. The research confirmed that on those places there is little worry about the aspects of comfort, being it the less adequate of all analyzed aspects, thereby the propositions are guided to this concern, pointing out the relevance of an appropriated project of the climate conditions and the work which will be performed on the space.
