This project is based on the idea that technologies work as an effective toll in the students learning process. The objective of the research was to guide the production of videos as a didactic resource and motivational pedagogical strategy in biology classes, based on content related to mosquitoes of the genus Aedes, in collaboration with high school students at Joaquim Nunes Rocha State School, located in Rondonópolis - MT, and make these videos available on the YouTube digital platform. Therefore, a methodological basis was used in the qualitative and quantitative research. The methodological model followed an activity plan on the proposed theme, and the activities were implemented to achieve the specific objectives. Teaching using investigation approach, was possible to conclude that Microsoft Power Point proved to be an effective technological tool for the videos productions, and motivated students to be protagonists in the construction of biology topics and extending learning beyond the school environment.
