Fotografia digital como apoio às práticas pedagógicas no ensino médio no contexto de uma disciplina eletiva

Resumo: | Digital photography is an information and communication technology, which makes its use common among students in schools in the contemporary world, although there are few studies about its use as a teaching resource, especially in school time. Thus, this research, inserted in the research line: School Organization, Training and Pedagogical Practices has the general objective to analyze the use of digital photography as a support to pedagogical practices in high school within an elective discipline. The formulation of the objective led to the definition of a set of actions that were translated in the specific objectives: to identify the modes of production of photographs associated to the school contents in elective discipline; to understand the production of photographs by the students and their contribution in the appropriation of knowledge and to discuss the use of digital photography as support to the pedagogical practices in the context of the elective discipline. Given the few analyzes on the use of digital photography in the construction and expression of knowledge in the realities of Mato Grosso, we sought answers if digital photography can constitute a resource to support pedagogical practice and its use is significant to the knowledge, considering its potentialities in the mediation of school contents. The locus of the research was defined by the manifestation of the will of the professionals of the education in working with the photograph, the State School “Padre João Panarotto” in Cuiabá-MT, being one of the 14 schools contemplated in the Program of Promotion to the Implementation of the High School in time in the state since the year 2017. We sought theoretical and methodological support in qualitative research, focusing on participant observation, with the support of a fieldwork notebook, a primary source of research that served as an instrument to support the theoretical construction of the research, since the researcher was involved in the planning and execution of pedagogical practice with the disciplines of high school in Biology, Physics and English. The analyzes were related to the theoretical-methodological aspects of the research in which we relate three nuclei of understanding. In the first, an approach was taken to prepare for the use of photography associated with school content in elective subjects. The second we highlight the use and production of photographs by students and their contribution in the appropriation of knowledge through observations and interviews, aiming to reach the third stage as the verification of the contribution of the use as support to the pedagogical practices in the context of the elective discipline. The analyzes also revealed that the use of digital photography alone is not responsible for changes in the school. It is necessary to consider the intentionality of the interdisciplinary pedagogical practice planned by the group of teachers so that it does not become an individualistic, spontaneous and autonomous practice of a single teacher. |

Embora existam poucos estudos sobre sua utilização enquanto recurso didático, especialmente nas escolas de ensino médio de tempo integral. Assim, esta investigação, inserida na linha de pesquisa: Organização Escolar, Formação e Práticas Pedagógicas tem como objetivo geral analisar a utilização da fotografia digital como apoio às práticas pedagógicas no ensino médio no âmbito de uma disciplina eletiva. A formulação do objetivo conduziu à definição de um conjunto de ações que foram traduzidas nos objetivos específicos: identificar os modos de produção de fotografias associadas aos conteúdos escolares em disciplina eletiva; compreender a produção de fotografias pelos estudantes e sua contribuição na apropriação de saberes e discutir a utilização da fotografia digital como apoio às práticas pedagógicas no contexto da disciplina eletiva. Diante de poucas análises sobre a utilização da fotografia digital na construção e expressão do conhecimento em realidades do ensino médio integral de Mato Grosso, buscamos as respostas se a fotografia digital pode se constituir como um recurso de apoio à prática pedagógica e sua utilização ser significativa ao saber educativo, considerando suas potencialidades na mediação dos conteúdos escolares. O lócus da pesquisa foi definido pela manifestação de vontade dos profissionais da educação em trabalhar com a fotografia, a Escola Estadual “Padre João Panarotto” em Cuiabá-MT, por ser uma das 14 escolas contempladas no Programa de Fomento à Implantação do Ensino Médio em tempo integral no estado desde o ano de 2017. Buscamos amparo teórico-metodológico na pesquisa qualitativa, com enfoque na observação participante, com apoio de um caderno de campo, fonte primária de pesquisa que serviu de instrumento de apoio à construção teórica da investigação, haja vista que estivemos envolvidos no planejamento e execução da prática pedagógica com as disciplinas do ensino médio de Biologia, Física e Inglês. As análises foram relacionadas com os aspectos teórico-metodológicos da pesquisa nas quais relacionamos três núcleos de compreensão. No primeiro foi realizada uma abordagem da preparação para a utilização da fotografia associada aos conteúdos escolares em disciplina eletiva. O segundo núcleo, destacamos a utilização e produção de fotografias pelos estudantes e sua contribuição na apropriação de saberes por meio das observações e entrevistas, visando alcançar a terceira etapa como sendo a verificação da contribuição da utilização como apoio às práticas pedagógicas no contexto da disciplina eletiva. As análises ainda revelaram que a utilização da fotografia digital por si só, não é responsável por mudanças na escola.
