Resumo: | This article proposes to highlight the influences and conceptual foundations of Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht’s theoretical elaboration of a non-hermeneutic field, conceptual elaboration that has been focusing for the last three decades on terms such as “presence effects”, ”presentification” and ”broad present”. With this intent, this work sheds light on philosophers and historical references that exert a decisive influence on the gradual development of Gumbrecht’s thinking, especially Paul Zumthor and Martin Heidegger, the medieval era and the serenity (Gelassenheit) as existential posture. Highlighting these references, the article analyzes the re-establishing of the body as the origin and vehicle of a meaning, which the act of interpreting does not reach or does not encompass. Finally, it aims to demonstrate the relevance of Gumbrecht’s theory to present researches on contemporary aesthetics and philosophy of art. |
