Resumo: | In this article we intend to demonstrate how Rousseau retrieves a form of expression that operates a fusion between philosophical and literary genres, aesthetizing philosophy, nature, the world and himself by thes use of a language which can be defined as a "rhetoric of sensibility". The theorist-artist wants his language to recover the "force" of nature and, with it, to move the soul of hers/his readers, leading to a moral reformation. Among the texts that reopen the way to this fusion, we will highlight here the Reveries of a Solitary Walker, more specifically, the “Fifth Walk”, a text in which the author explores all his lyricism, being considered by many as the most "romantic" of his writings. |
