Resumo: This study aims to draw the path of the narrator of In Search of the lost time in the fulfi llment of his literature project. It also aims to show that it is in the exposition of the discovery of the narrator’s vocation for literature that he might suggest us Schopenhauer’s metaphysics of the beautiful.
