TEACHING GAMES AS A METHODOLOGICAL RESOURCE FOR TEACHING MATHEMATICS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Resumo: Currently, the growth in the use of didactic games in the teaching of mathematics is notorious, because in addition to constituting a methodology in which the playful and the formal merge, they provide students with a pleasant and effective learning. In view of this, this article describes the elaboration and manufacture of educational games, from low-cost materials, in order to motivate the learning of basic mathematics concepts in students of the 6th and 7th grades, of elementary school, of a public school, located in the city of Boa Vista - RR. The games made were applied during the reinforcement classes of the New Programa Mais Educação (NPME), and evaluated by the students at the end of the bimester. The results indicated that the games contributed to a significant improvement in the students' learning, reflected in their school averages. This work demonstrated that games are a resource that motivates students and encourages them to participate and be interested in mathematics classes, which is a viable alternative to favor and assist the construction of student knowledge.

Por lo tanto, este artículo describe la elaboración y producción de juegos didácticos, a partir de materiales de bajo costo, con el fin de motivar el aprendizaje de conceptos matemáticos básicos en estudiantes de 6° y 7° años, de primaria, en una escuela pública, ubicada en la ciudad. de Boa Vista - RR. Los juegos realizados fueron aplicados durante las clases de refuerzo del Nuevo Programa Mais Educação (NPME), y evaluados por los alumnos al final del bimestre. Los resultados indicaron que los juegos contribuyeron a una mejora significativa en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes, reflejada en sus promedios escolares. Este trabajo, en el que se demostró que los juegos son un recurso que motiva y anima a los estudiantes a participar e interesarse en las clases de matemáticas, siendo así una alternativa viable para favorecer y ayudar a la construcción del conocimiento de los estudiantes.Atualmente, é notório o crescimento do emprego de jogos didáticos no ensino de matemática, pois além de se constituírem em uma metodologia na qual o lúdico e o formal se fundem, proporcionam aos alunos uma aprendizagem prazerosa e eficaz. Diante disso, este artigo descreve a elaboração e a confecção de jogos didáticos, a partir de materiais de baixo custo, a fim de motivar o aprendizado dos conceitos de matemática básica em alunos do 6º e 7º anos do ensino fundamental, de uma escola pública, situada na cidade de Boa Vista - RR. Os jogos confeccionados foram aplicados durante as aulas de reforço do Novo Programa Mais Educação (NPME) e avaliados pelos alunos ao final do bimestre. Os resultados indicaram que os jogos contribuíram para uma melhora significativa na aprendizagem dos estudantes, refletida em suas médias escolares.
