Digital games in Mathematics teaching and learning processes: A focus on high school

Resumo: Digital games gain, every day, more space in contemporary society. Educational establishments already demonstrate this concern to meet this new educational demand, seeking to insert games into their environments. Given this reality, the present work presents a Systematic Literature Review (RSL) about the use of digital games in mathematics teaching with an application aimed at high school students. Five databases were used to obtain the RSL studies, namely: Google Scholar, ERIC, CAPES Periodicals, Gale Academic OneFile and JSTOR. According to the results obtained, it is clear that the application of games to high school students in the discipline of mathematics is still a little explored field, there are demands for more research and studies in this area. On the other hand, in the articles analyzed in this RSL, it was observed that all of them report the great potential that digital games can bring to high school students in terms of participation, involvement and engagement in their mathematical learning process.

Los establecimientos educativos ya demuestran esta preocupación por atender esta nueva demanda educativa, buscando insertar el juego en sus entornos. Ante esta realidad, el presente trabajo presenta una Revisión Sistemática de Literatura (RSL) sobre el uso de juegos digitales en la enseñanza de las matemáticas con una aplicación dirigida a estudiantes de secundaria. Se utilizaron cinco bases de datos para obtener los estudios RSL, a saber: Google Scholar, ERIC, CAPES Periodicals, Gale Academic OneFile y JSTOR. De acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos, es claro que la aplicación de juegos a estudiantes de secundaria en la disciplina de las matemáticas es aún un campo poco explorado, existen demandas de más investigaciones y estudios en esta área. Por otro lado, en los artículos analizados en esta RSL, se observó que todos ellos reportan el gran potencial que los juegos digitales pueden traer a los estudiantes de secundaria en términos de participación, involucramiento y compromiso en su proceso de aprendizaje matemático.Os jogos digitais ganham, a cada dia, mais espaço na sociedade contemporânea. Os estabelecimentos de ensino já demonstram essa preocupação em atender a essa nova demanda educacional, procurando inserir os jogos em seus ambientes. Diante dessa realidade, o presente trabalho traz uma Revisão Sistemática de Literatura (RSL) acerca da utilização dos jogos digitais no ensino de matemática com aplicação voltada a estudantes do ensino médio. Foram utilizadas cinco bases de dados para a obtenção dos estudos da RSL, sendo elas: Google Scholar, ERIC, Periódicos CAPES, Gale Academic OneFile  e JSTOR. De acordo com os resultados obtidos, percebe-se que a aplicação de jogos aos alunos do ensino médio, na disciplina de matemática ainda é um campo pouco explorado, há demandas por mais pesquisas e estudos nessa área.
