DIGITAL INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY AND EDUCATION: Challenges and Possibilities in Pedagogical Practice

Resumo: | Digital Information and Communication Technology has played an increasingly relevant role in contemporary society, impacting several sectors, including education. Given this, the present study aims to map, in the educational literature, challenges and possibilities for the use of Digital Information and Communication Technology in pedagogical practices. This is a literature review, which was obtained as a search source filtered in databases. This review was divided into four theoretical lines: The Digital Information and Communication Technology; The integration of Digital Information and Communication Technology to the pedagogical practice; The challenges and possibilities that the incorporation of Digital Information and Communication Technology in education presents; The main impacts on the teaching and learning processes. The literature found indicates that the incorporation of Digital Information and Communication Technology in education presents challenges ranging from resistance to change to infrastructure issues. However, the possibilities and advantages that Digital Information and Communication Technology brings are significant, offering more active, personalized and creative learning opportunities. |

En vista de ello, el objetivo de este estudio fue mapear, en la literatura educativa, los desafíos y las posibilidades del uso de las Tecnologías Digitales de la Información y la Comunicación en las prácticas de enseñanza. Se trata de una revisión bibliográfica, siendo la fuente de la investigación las bases de datos filtradas. Esta revisión se dividió en cuatro líneas teóricas Las Tecnologías Digitales de Información y Comunicación; La integración de las Tecnologías Digitales de la Información y la Comunicación en la práctica pedagógica; Los desafíos y posibilidades que presenta la incorporación de las Tecnologías Digitales de la Información y la Comunicación en la educación; Los principales impactos en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje. La literatura encontrada indica que la incorporación de las Tecnologías Digitales de la Información y la Comunicación en la educación presenta desafíos que van desde la resistencia al cambio hasta problemas de infraestructura. Sin embargo, las posibilidades y ventajas que aportan las Tecnologías Digitales de la Información y la Comunicación son significativas, ofreciendo oportunidades para un aprendizaje más activo, personalizado y creativo.A Tecnologia Digital de Informação e Comunicação (TDIC) tem desempenhado um papel cada vez mais relevante na sociedade contemporânea, impactando diversos setores, incluindo a educação. Diante disto, o presente estudo objetivou-se mapear, na literatura educacional, desafios e possibilidades do uso da TDIC nas práticas pedagógicas. Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura, que obteve como fonte de pesquisa filtragem em bases de dados. A presente revisão foi dividida em quatro linhas teóricas sendo elas: A Tecnologia Digital de Informação e Comunicação; A integração da TDIC à prática pedagógica; Os desafios e possibilidades que a incorporação da TDIC na educação apresenta; Os principais impactos nos processos de ensino e aprendizagem. A literatura encontrada indica que a incorporação da TDIC na educação apresenta desafios que vão desde a resistência à mudança até questões de infraestrutura.
