WORK AS EDUCATIONAL PRINCIPLE: a study in the Revista Brasileira de Educação Profissional e Tecnológica

Resumo: The article aims to analyze the concept of work as an educational principle, addressed in the publications of the Brazilian Journal of Professional and Technological Education. The methodology, with a qualitative approach, anchored in the state of knowledge through a literature review, covering the period from 2008 to 2022. The results, analyzed in the light of Discursive Textual Analysis and with the contribution of authors such as Marx (1996, 2013), Gramsci (2001), Manacorda, (2007), Saviani (2007, 2013), Kuenzer (1989, 2020) and Moura , Lima Filho and Silva (2015), among others, show that there is an understanding of the concept of work as an educational principle in some articles; and little conceptual clarity in a significant part of the publications, which only mention the term without problematizing it and establishing relationships with the object of their investigations, demonstrating the need for further studies and reflections on the material base on which the social construction of the work as an educational principle, particularly in the field of professional and technological education.

La metodología, cuyo abordaje es cualitativo, está anclado en el estado del conocimiento por medio de revisión de literatura, comprendida en el período de 2008 a 2022. Los resultados, analizados fundamentándose en el Análisis Textual Discursivo y con el aporte de autores como Marx (1996, 2013), Gramsci (2001), Manacorda, (2007), Saviani (2007, 2013), Kuenzer (1989, 2020) e Moura, Lima Filho e Silva (2015), entre otros, muestran que hay comprensión del concepto de trabajo como principio educativo em algunos artículos, pero poca claridad conceptual en buena parte de las publicaciones, que solo citan el término sin problematizarlo y sin establecer relaciones con el objetivo de sus investigaciones, demostrando la necesidad de profundizar estudios y reflexiones sobre la base material en la cual se realiza la construcción social del trabajo como principio educativo, particularmente, en el campo de la educación profesional y tecnológica.O artigo objetiva analisar a concepção de trabalho como princípio educativo, abordada nas publicações da Revista Brasileira de Educação Profissional e Tecnológica. A metodologia, de abordagem qualitativa, está ancorada no estado do conhecimento por meio de revisão de literatura, compreendida no período de 2008 a 2022.
