Resumo: Early Childhood Education is extremely important as the first stage of Basic Education, being greatly affected by the covid-19 pandemic. In view of this, this objective work investigates the affective expressions of teachers of Early Childhood Education in the public education network of a municipality in Ceará, in the return to face-to-face activities after the period of pandemic isolation of covid-19. This is a Field Study with a qualitative approach, developed with ten Early Childhood Education teachers. As a result, one can see on the part of the teachers: a coexistence of emotions and different feelings in relation to the return of face-to-face teaching; philosophical or religious reflections on the meaning of life, arising from the pandemic period; perception of greater appreciation of the figure of the teacher by the family after isolation; conflict between the educational nature of Early Childhood Education and the limitations imposed by covid-19; understanding of the domain of technologies as a moment of learning and professional overcoming.
