Departamento de Educação, Instituto de Ciências Humanas e Sociais, Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto.Esta dissertação tem com objetivo geral compreender como as mulheres ditas com deficiência intelectual lidam com o corpo e a sexualidade e como os discursos acadêmicos produzem e reproduzem discursos sobre os corpos dessas mulheres. Para tanto, a partir do conceito de discurso de Michel Foucault (1996), analisamos os discursos acerca da deficiência intelectual, do corpo e da sexualidade. Buscamos compreender como pesquisadores(as) concebem deficiência intelectual, gênero, corpo e sexualidade nas pesquisas dos últimos anos, demarcando o nosso referencial teórico, para prosseguir com a leitura dos dados. Para refletir sobre os discursos produzidos acerca da temática, coletamos as pesquisas produzidas anteriormente a este trabalho, entre 2003 e 2017. Apresentamos dados referentes à pesquisa de campo desenvolvida em duas instituições públicas e problematizamos os procedimentos metodológicos adotados que compreenderam observação, análise documental e a prática de entrevistas com duas pedagogas e seis mulheres ditas com deficiência intelectual. Buscamos cotejar a percepção das instituições, que abrigam mulheres ditas com deficiência intelectual, acerca dos discursos produzidos em seu interior. Interessou-nos também escutar as próprias mulheres consideradas com deficiência intelectual e suas percepções sobre o corpo e a sexualidade. Os dados obtidos por esta pesquisa possibilitaram a elaboração de considerações sobre os discursos das instituições em relação às mulheres ditas com deficiência intelectual e, também, foram identificadas as maneiras por meio das quais essas mulheres lidam com o corpo e a sexualidade, para além do discurso científico. Os apontamentos deste estudo indicaram a ausência de pesquisas voltadas para pensar a relação entre corpo e sexualidade das mulheres consideradas com deficiência intelectual, demonstrando que essas mulheres ainda se encontram invisibilizadas, seus corpos são desconsiderados, inclusive nas pesquisas que envolvem a produção de saberes. A presente pesquisa busca fazer a diferença nesse escopo.This dissertation aims to understand how women with intellectual disabilities deal with body and sexuality and how academic discourses produce and reproduce discourses about the bodies of these women. Therefore, from the concept of discourse in Michel Foucault (1996), we analyze discourses about intellectual deficiency, body and sexuality. We seek to understand how researchers conceive of intellectual disability, gender and body and sexuality in the researches of the last decades, demarcating our theoretical framework, to proceed with reading the data in this research; In order to reflect on the discourses produced on the subject, we approached the collected researches that preceded this work, between 2003 and 2017. We present data referring to the field research developed in two public institutions and we problematize the methodological procedures adopted that included observation, documentary analysis and interviews with two pedagogues and six women with intellectual disabilities. We seek to compare the perception of the institutions that harbor women with intellectual disabilities, about the discourses produced within them. We are also interested in listening to the women considered to be intellectually disabled and their perceptions about the body and sexuality, analyzing the data collected in the light of the theoretical reference and the material found in the research. The data obtained by this research allowed the elaboration of considerations about the discourses of the institutions in relation to the women with intellectual deficiency and also the ways in which these women deal with the body and the sexuality, besides the discourse scientific.
