Resumo: Dentre os conceitos que têm por objeto a compreensão de fluxos de materiais e energia em um processo industrial, objetivando a adoção de práticas sustentáveis, destacam-se a Ecologia Industrial, o Cradle to Cradle e a Economia Circular. Neste sentido, este artigo objetiva verificar as relações entre os conceitos e as características da Ecologia Industrial, Cradle to Cradle e Economia Circular, investigando as principais diferenças e semelhanças existentes entre eles. Realizou-se um ensaio teórico, no qual foram analisados os conceitos e as características, além da realização de uma pesquisa na base de dados Scopus, utilizando-se dos termos: “Circular Economy” and “Cradle to Cradle” and “Industrial Ecology”. Como resultados verificou-se que há relação entre os três conceitos analisados no que se refere à análise de fluxos de materiais e energia em processos industriais, compreendendo todo o ciclo de vida, desde a etapa de design do produto até a reinserção do material de volta ao sistema.
