Este trabalho tem como objetivo realizar uma análise multitemporal do uso do solo para o município do Conde – PB nos anos de 2000 e 2011. São utilizadas, para tal, imagens do satélite landsat – 5 e o SIG SPRING 5.2 para a efetivação da classificação das imagens e mapeamento dos diferentes tipos de uso e ocupação presentes no município ao longo desses 11 anos. O resultado final consiste em uma análise comparativa, principalmente em relação à quantidade de áreas verdes e áreas urbanizadas presentes, inferindo desse modo, o quanto a urbanização avançou sobre as áreas anteriormente vegetadas. Os dados resultantes deste trabalho servem como base a futuras pesquisas no município supracitado e também como ferramenta para tomada de decisões acerca do território, se consultados por gestores responsáveis por tal.MULTITEMPORAL CLASSIFICATION IN THE USE AND OCCUPATION OF LAND AT THE CONDE MUNICIPALITY – PBAbstractThis paper aims to conduct a multitemporal analysis in the use and ocupation of land at the Conde municipality - PB in the 2000 and 2011 years. For this were used satellite images Landsat - 5 and the SPRING 5.2 GIS. These were used to do the image classification and mapping of different types of use and occupation in the city over these 11 years. The final result consists of a comparative analysis, especially in relation to the amount of green areas and urbanized areas present, implying thereby, how urbanization has advanced over the previously vegetated areas. The data resulting from this study serve as a basis for future research in the above county and also as a tool for making decisions about territory, if consulted by managers responsible for it.
