Memory, Formation and Education: Path of the Graduate Program in Education at Federal University of Ceará

Resumo: In recent years, graduate studies have been an increasingly recurrent object in educational studies. Based on this premise, this essay aims to reflect on postgraduate studies in Brazil and, more specifically, to rescue part of the history of the postgraduate program in Education at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) through its training proposals throughout the time. For this purpose, specialized bibliography was used, as well as documents related to the creation of master's and doctoral courses in Education at UFC. The results obtained indicated that the program went through a long process of maturation before its creation and has been consistently training human resources at the master's and doctoral levels for over 45 years, although it still needs changes. Finally, we conclude that there are considerable challenges to the program and to the whole of the national postgraduate course, with an eye on the situation of recent years, which is quite harmful to the National Postgraduate System as a whole, but with hope in future actions to continue to contribute to the Education in Ceará and Brazil.

A partir de esta premisa, este ensayo tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre los estudios de posgrado en Brasil y, más específicamente, rescatar parte de la historia del programa de posgrado en Educación de la Universidad Federal de Ceará (UFC) a través de sus propuestas formativas a lo largo del tiempo. Para ello, se utilizó bibliografía especializada, así como documentos relacionados con la creación de cursos de maestría y doctorado en Educación en la UFC. Los resultados obtenidos indicaron que el programa pasó por un largo proceso de maduración antes de su creación y lleva más de 45 años formando recursos humanos de manera constante a nivel de maestría y doctorado, aunque aún necesita cambios. Finalmente, concluimos que existen desafíos considerables para el programa y para el conjunto del posgrado nacional, con la mirada puesta en la situación de los últimos años, bastante dañina para el Sistema Nacional de Posgrado en su conjunto, pero con esperanza en el futuro. acciones para seguir contribuyendo a la Educación en Ceará y Brasil.Em anos recentes, a pós-graduação tem sido objeto de estudo cada vez mais recorrente nas pesquisas educacionais. Partindo dessa premissa, este ensaio tem por objetivo refletir sobre a pós-graduação no Brasil e, mais especificamente, resgatar parte da história do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC), por meio das suas propostas formativas ao longo do tempo. Para tanto, fez-se uso de bibliografia especializada, bem como documentos relativos à criação dos cursos de mestrado e doutorado em Educação da UFC. Os resultados obtidos indicaram que o Programa passou por um processo longo de maturação antes de sua criação e vem formando, com consistência, recursos humanos nos níveis de mestrado e doutorado há mais de 45 anos.
