Citizen journalism and local political leadership: Newspaper experiences of the “Voz do Nicéia” and “Portal Participi”

Resumo: With this article the aim is to contribute to the debate on citizen journalism, considering it an alternative to simulation and handling of information, affectin the credibility of tradicional journalism, increasingly corporate and detrimental to the public sphere. Are analized experiences of two projects that had the university as the basis of formal and conceptual experimentation: the newspaper “Voz do Nicéia” and the “Portal Participi”. These two publications suggest new possibilities for the creation, capture, production and distribution of informative contents, ande have citizen journalism in the public interest as the main focus of their essays.

São analisadas as experiências de dois projetos que tiveram a universidade como base de experimentação formal e conceitual: o jornal “Voz do Nicéia” e o “Portal Participi”.
